Your Big Green Egg is a fantastic device. You can grill at high temperatures, cook low-and-slow for barbecue, and bake hearth breads and pizza.

The thick walls and air-flow design of the ceramic cooker make it ideal for all of these types of cooking.

The cooker retains moisture without requiring pans of water when you are barbecuing low-and-slow meals like ribs, pork butts for pulled pork, and roasting fowl. The Big Green Egg's air-flow controls enable you to hold the temperature below 250 degrees

Did you know that the best steak restaurants grill steaks at temperatures between 600 and 700 degrees? They do this because the high temperature seal in the juices while cooking the core of the steak to perfection. Your Big Green Egg easily gets to this temperature, enabling you to grill steaks and chops just like the best restaurants.

One of my passions is baking hearth-baked breads and pizza. The ceramic cooker simulates the wood-fired hearth ovens of the best pizzerias. You can produce pizzas that will blow your friends and family away. They will swear that you have worked in one of the top pizzerias before.
